Niles Senior Center

SCOPE stands for Senior Citizens Opportunity for Personal Endeavor. Our main goal and objective is to assist older persons (50+) in maintaining their independence and being part of the community. SCOPE operates six senior centers in Champion, Cortland, Howland, Lordstown, Niles and Warren in Trumbull County serving adults with daily recreational activities, educational events, lunch, socialization, and fitness programs. SCOPE also has a Supportive Services division to support the individual with information and referral, Medicare/Medicaid assistance, prescription assistance, food pantries and grocery deliveries to homebound seniors. One of SCOPE’s main supportive volunteer efforts is the AARP free income tax assistance during the months of February through April each year, which serves over 2,000 clients.
