Kennedy Park
Park History
27 acres were purchased by the city in 1963 to make up Kennedy Park.
The Park is located near the Fairhaven School. Each year the park is the location for the Fearhaven Haunted Forest in October, offering self guided tours through the woods. The event is hosted by the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities, and the proceeds from this event benefit the Fairhaven School.
The city conducted a survey in 2018 with the residents, to obtain information about the changes residents would like to see in the parks system. City officials said they wanted feedback from residents and businesses to spur future growth. This information will be used in the future to makes updates to Kennedy Park, as well as some of the others in the park system.
